BULB CHANGING. Changing a light bulb is easy and safe. You may be wondering why your bulb fails a few days after installation. However, improper bulb changing can make the bulb lose its brightness and fail. Our highly trained team will hold a discussion with you on how to replace low-voltage landscape light bulbs, how to replace Led landscape lights, landscape lighting bulbs burn out, low voltage led landscape lighting replacement bulbs, and convert low-voltage lighting to LED. |
Bulbs are susceptible to human hands. Oils on fingers cause bulbs to overheat and burn out. Oils from your fingers might be why you keep changing your landscape bulbs after a short time. At Zionville landscape lighting, we offer an easy installation process that is less invasive.
We also offer outdoor downlighting services. The difference in the luminous carrier brings the difference between uplighting and downlighting. Downlights are multipurpose. They are used as a component of a good lighting plan. Our downlighting solutions include exterior downlighting, outdoor downlighting, outdoor LED downlighting, outdoor low voltage lighting, and outdoor LED downlighting. Below are steps on how to change your outdoor landscaping bulb.
Things you will need
Screwdriver
Rubber gloves
STEP 1.
Turn the transformer for the lighting system off.
Step 2.
Use a screwdriver to unscrew the housing. Lift the glass lens out of the housing and place it aside.
Step 3.
Put on rubber gloves and remove the old bulb. Handle them by touching the rim or reflector, not the bulb. The rubber gloves prevent your fingers from having direct contact with the bulb.
STEP 4.
Check for corrosion in the old bulb's prongs to avoid a leak in the watertight seal. This may cause you to replace the new fixture again.
STEP 5.
Place the prongs on the bottom of the bulb inside the holes in the light fixture.
Step 6.
Screw the housing back. Clean the lens and check for any corrosion in the wire connectors. Reposition the light and check all the lights in the system for maintenance.
Note:
Never touch the glass of landscape lights with your bare hands. Always put on gloves to prevent oils from your fingers from causing overheating and burnout. The placement of the bulbs depends on how bright they are. Ideally, you should place every light six to eight feet apart. This placement ensures the pathways are bright.
